Polls are interactive, question-based, or for-fun ways of gathering information. They can cover a wide range of information and gather information from large groups of people.

What are polls significance to journalism?

Polls are significant in journalism because they're a great way to gather information from a large group of people, and can be done anonymously. It's also a quick way to put information into a numerical value and make statistics.

How do polls work? How do I interact with them?

On The Scroll, we host polls on topics like entertainment, pop culture, school, and a ton of other topics! In this category, we have several forms being conducted through Google Forms. Simply open the Form and enter your answers, and we can compile results easily.

Will I be able to see poll results?

Yes! We post results to polls the month after the poll is conducted. As long as there were more than five people who replied, we'll write a reflection on it. Check back in the next issue to see how you scale up to the rest of our readers!
