Have you ever thought of a book, game, or cartoon that has not become live-action yet, and you are desperate for certain actors to be in the live-action version? That's what this column is for!
This month's fancast is going to attempt to turn an action-turned-romance/comedy Korean novel into a television series. The novel is called The Greatest Estate Developer, and was written by Back-Kyung. Despite the name, this story has nothing to do with financial business. This is the story of a little boy being transported into this world of realistic fantasy with other people, and becoming a protector of the land. This has a similar vibe to Aladdin, Where The Wild Things Are, How To Train Your Dragon, Tangled, Brave, and Epic.
Lloyd is a smart, quick, and witty character. The females in this story, though, think otherwise and do not see him for his true self. He is also rather cocky sometimes, but that only happens around his enemies. The courageous tasks in this story make him the favorite character of this novel for many people, according to the many online picture edits and artwork available online.
Craig Roberts has Lloyd's floofy hair. The hair alone makes this role perfect for him, especially with the same eyebrows and ears. He actually looks like he fits the age range of Lloyd, unlike my poor first attempt to fancast Lloyd this month. Roberts' similar roles are Bud, Milo, Neil, Elliott, Robert Lane, Dominic, Butt Juice, Spencer, and Adam, James, Ben, Emperor Nero, Darren, Sam, Rio Wellard, Jim, Danny, and Oliver Tate.
Julian is the adorable 20-years-younger brother of Lloyd, who 100% did not deserve the mental abuse from Lloyd that was shown for a bit. He eventually moved from Magenta to a town named Magentano. Really? This is more Seussville than the last Fancast. Julian is still in training but, hopefully, he will get out there with the rest.
Aidan Gallagher has got the face and hair for this role. Aidan's most similar role is Nicky from the television show Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn. He also played Chris from Ghost Witch. The characters are similar because they are both extremely new to their environment. Gallagher is another actor that needs to be appreciated more because of his talent. He is the only actor on this page who started acting when he was nine. Most nine-year-olds can't even sit in an unstable chair for a long period. Plus, his fanbase is huge. We need more fan bases to develop into each other.
Javier is our raging, overthinking, hotheaded, brain-of-39-millimeters, catlike knight. He is moody, and impatient when it comes to being around Lloyd, their golden retriever, who is his best friend. Lloyd likes people, and Javier would rather die than be around people. Javier would 100% mistake Santa as a whoopee cushion and leave him at a daycare.
Graham Patrick Martin has the looks for this role. Martin's similar roles are Deputy Dwyer, Taran, John Diego, and Trent Pearson-- all snarky, popular, serious roles that have a lot in common. The actor's personality is the opposite, so don't worry. Trust the process.
Christine is what would happen if Rapunzel turned into an Austrian town resident. She is bubbly and obnoxious, only towards Javier. Even if he is miles away from her, she still wants his attention. Javier is bold-mouthed and Christine is silent-mouthed. She also makes Javier upset a lot, which does not surprise anyone because Javier is Javier. People might have also seen similar relationships like this in Icarly, Sam & Cat, and Victorious.
Olivia Holt's similar roles are Dani Mckenzie from Status Update, Lindy Watson from I Didn't Do It, Lucy from Turkey Drop, Amy Roberts from The Standoff, Morgan from Tinkerbell: And The Legend Of The NeverBeast, and Regan Hall from The Same Kind Of Different As Me-- all nervous roles that are very much alike for Christine.
Bayern means: German, the state of Bavaria, successful club, rocky, brewery in the Rocky mountains. Bayern is a knight who does his job well around other people, but when he is around Lloyd, his jobs are so goofy. Who guards a literal watering hole, open to the public in the middle of a goody-two-shoes city? Javier is more of Lloyd's personal knight, while Bayern just shows up when Lloyd does not really get what he wants.
Paul Wesley does not look like anyone else in this manga. While he may be Polish, not German, being seven hours and forty-five minutes away from Bayern's location is close enough. Paul's similar roles to this character are Tom Avery, PFC Logan Atwater, John Amos, Jake Tanner and Clint Romesha-- all hesitant but protective roles that would most likely fight off the rats in your walls as your supposed gift for the holidays.
Akush is a Hindu name meaning "full moon". Akush is a friend of the main character. His description on the fandom site is basically that he is what would happen if Superman became the Hulk, and then somehow also became Spiderman. Akush is probably one of the smartest giants in this fictional universe.
Henry Cavill has fluffy hair and facial hair. That's it. That's my comment. Have you seen Henry Cavill's roles? No hate for Sherlock Holmes and Clark Kent. The ground is so lucky to be a part of his world. Henry Cavill’s similar roles to Akush are Geralt, Charles Brandon, Theseus, Walter Marshall, WIll Saw, Stephen Colley, and Evan Marshall. These are all protective roles to hype a person up on a bad day.
Alicia is the empress of a place called Magenta. It's not even the color magenta. They are hardworking and take their job very seriously, in a bloodthirsty way. I can't tell if the author is saying that they are a vampire or a cannibal. They do not believe anyone until they see it with their own eyes. Despite their disappointing blood-sucking ways, they seem very cool.
Rose Leslie is appropriate for this role. Rose Leslie's similar roles are Chloe, Kristen Longacre, Bea, Maia Rindell, Edith Pelham, and Rihan-- all strong, empowering feminist roles that know their worth. I'm already in love with this novel. My grandma does not get why, but I'm in love.
Marbella is married to Arcos. She's pretty much the only non-descript female, who is just there to be a supporting character-- or so I thought when she led people to her death three times. Marbella is completely oblivious to the fact that Julian has been mentally abused, even though she is kind of like a parent to Julian, who is her husband Lloyd's brother.
Madison Riley has the eyebrows, hair, and face for this role. Madison's similar roles are Camie Poole, Roxanna, Socialite, Ashley, and Precious. These are all roles in which the characters are oblivious to what they are doing. Most are not exactly the proper choice of a parent.
Arcos means many things but most importantly victory. Before Lloyd was even born, Arcos attempted to be a town hero. However, this never panned out for him. Arcos is a sweet count that gets overwhelmed a lot. Lloyd is his biggest inspiration to become a great father. At the same time, some characters can be hateful toward him, saying that they do not think that he is a great hero for the town. Arcos' backstory is traumatizing because his wife died in a war and ever, since then, he had dark thoughts.
Taz Skylar has got the face and hair for this role. Taz's similar roles are Neon, Boy, Betim, Liam, Marty, Man, Mike, Sergeant Dawes, Dubz, Gin, and Bill--all terrifying roles, in which characters are all new to experiences that get them in danger.
Emily is interesting. She's a maid for an entire town, which is overwhelming and stressful since she is the only one. She is known as being a hardworker, a designation that is both well-deserved and necessary, since she is the only maid. She is in a relationship with an Ork, causing more problems than she already had. It's like another Beauty And The Beast story with the same ginger man.
Paget Brewster is the only obvious answer to play Emily. She plays a different Emily in Criminal Minds. The Criminal Minds fan base only seems to have eyes for Matthew Gray Gubler and Paget. However, Paget's large fan base is surprising. Are there three earths or something? Both Emilys are similar because they both get to the same point when they are stressed. Other similar roles to Emily that Brewster plays are Kathy and Agent 15 because all of these ladies are extremely dedicated to their jobs.
Greg is the very overprotective brother of Emily. He has a right to be. His sister is in love with a buff Lord Of The Rings-type ginger Ork. The many love interests in this novel are extremely chaotic. Why does it seem like everyone is in love with gigantic celery men?
Joseph Morgan is genuinely good at roles where is the straight-forward type. Joseph Morgan's similar roles are Brother Blood, Judah Ben-Hur, James Ackerson, CJack60, William Warley, Nathan, A.J. Budd, Troy, Eric Ashworth, Rusty, Philotas, William Price, Kit, James Hogg, Kyosuke Shigure, Patrick Kenzie, and Paul. These roles are both similar because they are all scary, mean, and intimidating.
Mellica is a buff female elf warrior who is nice to her fellow elves-- m ore buff than Rhea Ripley from WWE. She is an extremely determined fighter and will still fight, even when she is tired. Mellica lives in the trees. She is the first villain to actually knock over Javier, and almost successfully finish both Javier and Lloyd off when she sees them grilling food and decides to join them. Her ending is being the town's errand-runner.
The hair, eyebrows and face say it all. If you have not seen any Jennifer Lawrence interviews, she often says that one thing she wants to do in more of her roles is to get buff. Lawrence was buff in X-Men, but Quora says she has been buff since she was 14 years old. There is nothing wrong with the obvious answer but, in truth, Quora might be off a little. In some 14-year-old pictures, Lawrence looks 9 years old instead of 14. Good for her for shooting for a goal, though.
Hay Stacker causes mixed feelings from page one. He is like a father figure to Lloyd. It is sweet, but he is just suspicious-looking. Lloyd gives vibes that the Hay Stacker is not going to kill him, but he should realize that this is not the case. The guy is literally stalking him. Lloyd, I love you, but your love choices make me want to rip my hair out. No promises of bringing in the hair extensions after this. Smart author move, though. No one would expect a hay stacker, out of all people, to try to kill them.
Mark Arnold fits the old guy's grumpy, intimidating description. Mark's similar roles are Thomas, Mick Mcallister, Charlie, Sean's Father, Interviewer, Ridley Kay, Larry, John, Alex York, Mark Lowe, and Roy Cohn #2. These are all sketchy roles that make me yell at my TV. Just look at that second snarky smile. Okay, Mr. I Have Dimples to Cover Up. You actually look like you are a psychopath who can get away with it.
Count Cremo is that one character who is problematic but is still a good person sometimes. I mean, sure, he pulled off an unforgettable, scarring political marriage that affected his daughter Christine, and he made Christine forget it by giving his blessing to the wrong love interest. Just because an already engaged love interest might as well forget something does not mean the whole town won't.
Some people have said that 32-year-old actor Dylan O'Brien can't have a beard, which may be why they said they hated him when he actually grew one. Then, later, they loved his beard when he grew one a couple of months later. Now that he has grown a beard, he can be eligible for the role of Count Cremo. One of Dylan O'Brien's similar roles to the Count is Thomas from The Maze Runner because the romance in that series is genuinely blind.
Meatloaf is an unfair, greedy, selfish moneylender. Later, we find out he sells women to ''nice places.'' Javier, Lloyd's personal knight, overheard a major secret about Meatloaf and promptly killed him. The beheading in every chapter is getting old. Sure, that was a major way to kill in this old society, but Bayern's fighting is more entertaining. Meatloaf also wears three layers of clothing in warm weather. That's a terrible disguise.
Chris Sullivan has got the looks for this role. Chris's similar roles are Taserface, Andrew Blackwell, Jimmy, Dr. Darren Finch, Brendan Loomis, Tony twice, Rusty, and Alvin-- all roles that are disruptive and mysterious. The qualities of a villain. Chris Sullivan even said in many interviews that he would love to play a villain.
Neumann is a senior, secretly evil knight. He once was Arcos' knight, but selfishness got in the way. Before Neumann could even hurt Arcos, his son Lloyd stopped him, leaving Neumann in nothing but exile. We don't know for sure if he still takes part in this book, planning his revenge inside the town or outside the town. Truly a mystery. This is definitely giving The Hunchback Of Notre Dame vibes.
Chris Hemsworth has similar hair, eyebrows, and face. Chris's similar roles are Tyler Rake, Huntsman, Immortan Joe, Steve Abnesti, Billy Lee, and Kale. Chris would be really great for this role since he is very athletic, and used swords before in his career. These type of roles are always so fun to do. He would enjoy it, for sure.
Tord's name means animal poop which is laughable because he is a conman. Tords is so funny. He sneaks into a bar, where Bayard randomly bumps into him, and Torde just gives vibes like: I'm not a living person. I'm an NPC. You saw nothing. When Lloyd shows up, Tords is running and Beyard just yeets him out the window before he can even move and says, "Nope. I'm done with you."
Andy Biersack has the face and hair for this role. His similar roles are Johnny Faust and himself. He is a con man in many of his acting roles and acts similar to Tords in his roles. His management is bothersome because he is actually great at acting, but his management messes it up most of the time and it is frustrating. He's good! let him be that. Let him be great. He is a great person. I know that and his fanbase knows that.
Lupellan is an evil spirit sorcerer who is even more moody than Javier (well, before he died). This can be irritating at times because Javier can be too much but, at the same time, Lupellan deserves a quicker fate than the other villains because he is more evil.
Who is everyone's first-ever favorite supernatural human? Obviously, Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries. If one Salvatore brother is here, the most likable one also needs to be added to prevent sadness. Paul had better be alive in one piece, though, because Paul is the most dramatic, silly human being in Ian's life and he hates it. They were never related and then they were brothers. The only similar thing about this role is the ''younger brother'' wanting to tear the other brother apart, but they are not actually related in life.
Welp, that is all! Have a happy new year and I will be signing off for another month.
