HEALTH 1 (607701)

Length: Semester Available for: 7th Grade

Take part in learning about healthy lifestyle choices that you will be encountering during your lifetime. Take part in exciting lessons about nutrition, anatomy, the effects of drugs and alcohol, learning CPR and the emotional impacts of social media. This will be a hands on learning environment that will teach you skills that you will use for the rest of your life.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION 7 (606001)

Length: Semester Available for: 7th Grade

Take part in an exciting mixture of sports/activities you’ve played or heard of before! Challenging, yet fun workouts to create a positive atmosphere while getting healthier. Sports such as; Pickleball, 4-Square, Angleball, Breakball, Spikeball, Speedball and many more. Also… see if you can survive The Gauntlet or The Final Countdown workouts.

JH DANCE 1A – BEGINNING 1 (499991)

Length: Semester Available for: 7th and 8th Grades

Dance 1A is a beginning dance class meant to teach the student the elements of dance and dance technique. Students will learn beginning dance fundamentals while increasing flexibility, improving strength and endurance, and encouraging artistic development. Students will develop skills to improve kinesthetic awareness, full body motion, musicality, technique, performance skills, artistry, etiquette, and self confidence. Students will learn a variety of dance genres including but not limited to; ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and modern dance components.
