How to Complete Your Course Selection

• Schedule some time to go through this course selection website with a parent/guardian.

• Review all content area pages in our course information.  Learn about all of the options available to you.

• Attend Move to Matheson Night to learn more about courses and offerings. This will be an open house on Janurary 16th from 6:00pm- 8:00pm. 

• As a 7th grade student, you will have the option to choose some elective classes you are interested in taking.  Review all elective options in each area, and find 4 elective courses that you would like to be in the most.  You will be placed in 1-3 of those 4 courses for your schedule in August 2025.

• Turn in your completed course selection paper to your elementary teacher or turn in during the Move to Matheson night. 

• Know the application / tryout / audition dates for courses you are interested in applying for.  All applications are will be due by February 16th.  In person auditions for Dance Company will be completed on February 13th and 14th. 

• Prepare for a GREAT year!!  We are excited to prepare you for high school and beyond!

If you have not turned in you course selection please give the completed paper to your elementary teacher, bring it to Matheson, or email a copy of the completed paper to Cmickelson1@graniteschools.org
