During the first three days of school, parents will bring their kindergarten students into the school for individual testing appointments. While other grades will begin school as usual, kindergarten students will come in by appointment only.

This system allows teachers to meet one-on-one with each student to conduct assessments. Some schools may create tentative class lists ahead of time, and teachers will assess their assigned students. Other schools may schedule appointments without assigning students to specific teachers yet; in these cases, teachers will assess whichever students come in. Once all assessments are complete, final class placements will be determined based on the data collected.
