COLLEGE CAFETERIA

A Cafeteria is situated between the Palm Garden and Rose Garden. Refreshment items are available at reasonable price. A separate canteen is also available for girls along Graduate block. Problems and complaints concerning college cafeteria are dealt by the cafeteria committee.

DISPENSARY

Consultation and advisory health services are available for the students. A reasonably equipped dispensary is being run under the supervision of a qualified dispenser. For the minor medical problems, medicines are provided free of cost. However, complicated cases are referred to the District Headquarters Hospital.

LIBRARY

Library is an integral part of the education system. It plays an important part in the development of students and teachers by imparting knowledge and building their scholarly image. At present, there exists one library on the college campus i.e. Malik Anwar Library. There are 50,000 books in total. Students are encouraged to utilize this facility to improve their knowledge and personality. 

PHOTOCOPY SHOP

A state-of-the-art photocopy shop is also available for the students and staff of the college. Facilities including stationery, composing, photo studio, hard binding etc. are provided at a controlled rate as compared to the market.

Parking

There is a college Bicycle stand to facilitate the college students. Rs. 100/- are charged from each student having bicycle or motorcycles. It is compulsory for students having bicycles and motorcycles to get their names, roll number, and class written by painter on the back of bicycles and motorcycles and get lock for safety. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to use the cycle stand. The Students having the facility of cars and want to use cycle stand will have to inform college authorities and their dues will be different from others.

SCHOLARSHIPS

1. Apart from fee concession, deserving students are granted scholarships by Govt. Universities,

Board, District Council, student aid society, Zakat, Hilal-e-Ahmar and donors. For further details contact incharge fee concession / scholarship. A student cannot get more than one scholarship at a time.

2. Principal has the authority to give full or half concession up to 10% of deserving students in each category/class.

3. If an elder brother or sister of any student is studying in this college or any other Government College or University and paying full fee then he/she will be given half fee concession. To have this facility it is necessary to present a certificate of the elder brother / sister showing payment of full fee. This concession will be cancelled in case of bogus or false information.

4. Students are financially supported from Hilal-e-Ahmar fund. Student will have to give separate application for this concession.

5. The eldest child of Govt. school teacher up to grade 15 is given full fee concession and half fee concession to the other. For this purpose certificate attested by the DEO should be attached explaining that the student is the eldest child of the teacher. Concession should be obtained before the payment of dues at the time of admission.

6. Hafiz-e-Quran students eligible for admission are entitled for full fee concession for the whole academic period. But they will have to contact the incharge fee concession before paying the admission fee. This benefit will automatically finish in case of non-availability of recommendation from the incharge.

7. Scholarship from zakat fund is given to deserving students according to a procedure laid down by the Govt. of Punjab. Moreover, provincial Govt. gives scholarships to the two children of a servant (in service, disable, retired or deceased) of any Govt. department from welfare fund. For this, applications are submitted every year in December. If the performance of any student is not satisfactory, his concessions can be cancelled. Similarly, the scholarship of students taking part in politics or violating college rules will be cancelled. All concessions and scholarships are given for one year and a fresh application has to be submitted in the next year.

TRANSPORT

College has 2 buses for pick and drop of the students on the specified routes. It is pertinent for the students to behave decently and co-operate with the driver and conductor. Any complaint regarding the bus staff can be lodged with the Chief Proctor / Transport committee. Anybody found damaging the buses would be fined heavily. The routes of buses will be decided after the available number of applicants to optimize the excess expenditure of the transport as per decision of the college council. The beneficiary students of the bus in the college will be charged Rs. 600 to Rs. 800 per student per month for rural area students and Rs.800 to Rs. 1000 per student per month for urban area students. The amounts mentioned above are for one year for Intermediate classes while for one semester in case of BS Classes.

WATER FILTRATION PLANT

Healthy and hygienically pure water is required for good health. Water filtration plant provides healthy and clean drinking water by restoring naturally occurring minerals good for health. For this purpose, two modern water filtration plants are available on the college campus. For proper functioning of these plants, maintenance schedule is followed strictly.
