In the summer of 2020, we engaged a team of Secondary Science teachers develop to diagnostic assessment tools to support their colleagues upon return-to-school in the fall. The collaboration amongst educators from a variety of secondary schools was both enjoyable for the writers, and effective to gain a variety of perspectives and strategies.
During the summer of 2020 we had a team of educators from a variety of schools work to spiral the grade 9 and 10 Science curriculum in an 'Ideally at school' and 'Potentially at home' hybrid model. Resources for each grade were completed for the first cycle providing teachers with resources for the first 6-7 typical weeks.
