Blended Learning will benefit students with diverse learning needs because of its ability to allow students to have more control over the learning pace through varied modalities/ medium of delivery
A blended learning model can increase the number of teachers present to work with students and allows for closer integration and planning across teacher teams.
Rather than removing students from their learning environment for support and interventions both LST’s and SST’s should be integrated into the in-class and digital classroom to build capacity and provide personalized assistance.
Blended learning provides an emerging opportunity to address diverse learning needs by creating personalized learning e-hubs that can address the needs of all students. For instance, establishing ‘office hours’ to coach students in real time assists with building capacity as students progress through difficult concepts by engaging strategies to support their learning process.
