After School Child Care

2024-25 ASP Waitlist Information

Waitlist status indicates that we have planned for your child to have a place in our program, but do not currently have enough staff/space to accommodate all registrations.

• Currently, all sites are full. When a space becomes available, we will add from the Waitlist based on established priority or previous lottery number assigned.

• Kinderbridge/ASP (1:30-5:30p) registrations still have priority over Kinderbridge Only (1:30-3:00p) registrations

Updates

Our staff is working hard to add staff and secure more space for the After School Program. We allocate resources equitably across all 9 sites so all families have the opportunity to take advantage of the care service provided during the after school hours. If you have any questions regarding the Waitlist at a particular school, please call our "Helpline" at 805-681-1200 ext.2211. Our staff will provide the following information for requests:

• Is there an active Waitlist at a particular school for the registration type you need?  (KB Only, KB/ASP, ASP)

• Is your child on an active Waitlist in our Eleyo system?

• What registration type (KB Only, KB/ASP, ASP) does your child currently have? 

     Our Staff will not provide the following information:

• An estimated time you will be on the Waitlist (we don't know).

• How many students that are on the Waitlist and/or what position your child is in on the Waitlist

Change Requests

We will no longer be taking verbal (phone) requests for changes in registration type or to end enrollments. If you would like to change your registration type or end an enrollment, please email our Program Office Manager, Rosa Greening at rgreening@gusd.us
