Public Speaking is an important skill to learn, esecially if you want to be involved in civic engagement. In this section,you will find the tools necessary to become a better public speaker. This is the first step in making the change you want to see in your community and will allow you to engage with your peers, local community leaders, city officials, and state politicians. In addition, as the year goes on we will have many opportunities to practice these skills. These tools are extraordinarily useful to gather quantitative data about your community and are excellent resources to reference to in a report, presentation, or in conversation - like with a guest speaker.
