Sessions 2 Thursday Nights Starting after March Break, Thursdays @ 6:30 p.m.

This 5 week program is for students who are interested in creating characters and using their voice for animation, video games, or other voice acting work. Students can expect to let their vocal chords go as they explore different tips and techniques for professional voice acting.


Samantha Wilson


Samantha is a Halifax based director and actor who has worked nationally and internationally for the past 25 years. In Nova Scotia, she has had the pleasure of performing and directing for Neptune Theatre, 2b Theatre, Eastern Front Theatre, Ship’s Company Theatre, Theatre Baddeck, Mulgrave Road Theatre, The Chester Playhouse, Da PoPo Theatre, DMV Theatre, Dalhousie Fountain of Performing Arts, Festival Antigonish, Forerunner Playwright’s Theatre and Halifax Theatre for Young People. Selected TV/Film Credits include: Night Blooms, S&V, Trailer Park Boys, Haven, Queer as Folk, Legends, Room Service and So Close. Samantha holds an MFA from York University and has taught for arts organizations across Canada and Mount Allison and York Universities. She currently teaches at Dalhousie University and is directing her adaptation of The Roaring Girl for Sheridan College, which will air in late March
