Instrumental Jazz Improvisation (Grades 9-12)

Students will learn how to improvise over standard jazz repertoire using common patterns employed by the great jazz musicians.

This session runs Mondays at 4:40-5:40 pm online.

Ryan Froude is the director of the HRA Music West Senior Jazz Ensemble. He has a degree in jazz performance from STFX and studied under well-known musician Skip Beckwith.
