Indigenous Fine Arts and Culture

These lessons and activities were created by Brittany Pennell, the Indigenous Fine Arts Specialist for the HRCE. Brittany offers workshops and presentations for all grade levels across the HRCE and can be reached by email (Bpennell@hrce.ca ) for ideas, planning, networking and opportunities for students to engage in lessons about Indigenous Culture through the arts.

Due to the COVID-19 interruption, these lessons are offered here to enhance learning and awareness of Indigenous Culture in Nova Scotia and help us all take steps towards fulfilling the goal of reconciliation.
