MYP Updates

Dear Global Jaya School Community, 

As we close the end of the school year 2023-2024, I would like to say a big thank you to all the support from our parents and school community. Global Jaya is truly a special place. 

Some highlights of the past month:

On June 5th, the current year 6 students came to the secondary school for the day. They enjoyed meeting the new incoming students and took part in secondary lessons. Please click here to see the student MYP presentation. Also, students learned how the MYP is different from the PYP. All the teachers felt enthusiastic about teaching the new year 7 in 2024-2025! 

Year 10 MYP Certificate Ceremony took place on May 31st. The year 10 group celebrated their accomplishments and community with awards, food, and performances. The year 10 teachers all felt proud to see them make their transition to the IB Diploma Programme. I can say it has been an immense pleasure to watch them learn and grow throughout the year. Year 9 students have officially begun their personal project! Last week 6 year 10 students presented their advice on how to prepare and get ready for the personal project. Mark your calendars for the 2024-2025 school year:

AUGUST: 30 - Personal Project Journal Check

SEPTEMBER:  27 - Cri A Submission 

NOVEMBER:  29 - Product Submission 

DECEMBER: 13 - Criterion B submission

JANUARY:  10 - Draft Report Submission  and 31 -  PP Exhibition 

FEBRUARY:  3- Final Report Due
