Dear Parents,
As we come to the end of this academic year I am delighted by everything we have achieved. As I walked around and observed the Jump-Up transition from one grade to another, I could clearly see how much our students have learned, grown and matured over the year. The various experiences that they have had, both inside and outside the classroom, have significantly contributed to their development. I am delighted that our students are ready, excited and looking forward to next year.
We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to each and every member of our graduating Year 6 class. We commend them for their passion, dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments throughout their journey in the Primary School. Having successfully completed their primary education, they are now ready to embark upon the next chapter of their academic pursuits. We wish them continued success in their future endeavors. Congratulations once again on this significant milestone.
I would also like to say a big thank you to all our our incredible staff who have worked tirelessly and
diligently throughout the year to provide outstanding education and experiences to all of our students. We also have some members of our staff who will be moving on from Global Jaya and we wish them all the best in their future endevours.
Finally, thank you to all the parents, guardians, and community members for your unwavering support. Your involvement and encouragement have made a significant difference in our students' lives. Together, we have created a school community that is truly special.
I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing summer break and I look forward to welcoming you and your children back in the new academic year.
Summer Reading Program
We are excited to share the Global Jaya School Summer Reading Challenge! This program is designed to keep your reading skills sharp while having fun throughout the summer break. We encourage students to explore diverse formats such as comic books, graphic novels, recipes, and more and track their progress by noting the book titles they read and capturing photos of their reading adventures to share with their teachers. Complete the GJS Summer Reading BINGO card (reception to Year 5) and Kindy Literacy Bingo card (for Kindergarten) to earn house points and receive special recognition at our August Assembly.
Report Cards and IReady Results
Your child’s report will be uploaded to ManageBac on 14th June. You will receive an email notification when it is available for viewing. Additionally, the iReady Literacy and Math growth report for students in Year 2-6 will be placed in the Portfolio section for each student on ManageBac. If you have any difficulty viewing your child’s report, please contact Ibu Imas, Primary Administrative Assistant, at imas@globaljaya.com or through the school phone number at 021-7457562.
