Year 3 students demonstrated their understanding about the unit of inquiry "How We Express Ourselves” by creating some marvelous artwork and explaining the meaning behind them.
Throughout this unit, they learned about different art forms, learned about different cultures related to imagination and art, how they use their imagination to create something and express ideas, and how to see things through different perspectives.
They have been doing this for several weeks now. Through these artworks, they use their imagination to communicate their feelings and express ideas.
We can see through some pictures below that the students are very creative, they are good communicators and they have continued to develop their fine and gross motor skills.

I made my sculpture with clay and I needed black, gray, and brown clay color.

Title: Keep the Environment Safe!
My message is to encourage people to save the world by putting their trash in the bin and not littering. I also want to plant more trees. Everyone can be a hero for our environment. Be Superman and Batman for the environment.
In my performance (Puppet Show), I tried to improve my speaking skills by not skipping some words and speaking too fast. I also wanted to speak English more than Bahasa Indonesian. I was also careful about the information in my script.
First I made my script and then I made my background. I used recycled materials to make my puppets. I used popsicle sticks, googly eyes, boxes and origami paper.
I felt great after presenting. When I was done I felt like I wanted to do it again.
