This Week's Inspiration

This week's inspiration is

H O M E

We've spent a LOT of time at home because of COVID. As artists, we can take inspiration from what is around us.

This week is all about making art inspired by our homes. What makes you think of home? What makes your home special? What colors, textures, or items can you find in your home?

Try designing your dream room, a cool chair or bed, or a futuristic kitchen you'd like to have in your home one day.

Your Art Challenge

Your Challenge this week is to make art inspired by your home. Some ideas are...

Draw Your Home: Draw your home from the outside or inside! Pick a particular spot, a room, or a space in your home that is meaningful to you. Then draw it! Try to capture all the details.

Objects That Mean Home: Think about what special things mean home to you. A special stuffed animal, a treasure box, a favorite toy, or blanket. Draw your object in a way that shows how special it is.

You can choose how you want to make HOME art. Be creative and have fun deciding how you want to honor your home in your art.
