Form is another important and fundamental part of art. There are many real or implied ways to use form in 3-D or 2-D works of art.

This week, we'll be planning and making sculptures to explore form.

Your Art Challenge

Your Challenge this week is to explore FORM in your art.

Here are some ideas:

Plan a Sculpture: Draw a plan of what sculpture you would make if you had ANY materials and could make anything you wanted!

Toilet Paper Sculptures: Use toilet paper to craft a three-dimensional sculpture of your favorite snack or anything else you want to create

Recycled Materials / Found Objects Sculpture: Create a 3-dimensional sculpture with recyclable materials or found objects from around your house, yard, or neighborhood

2-D Challenge: Make a drawing that tricks the eye by using perspective to create the look of a 3-D form

You can choose how you want to use form. Be creative and have fun experimenting with form in your artwork. Look at the samples below for more ideas!
