To do so, please login to your email from your internet browser. In the top right-hand corner (next to your account photo), you will see a "cube" icon for Google Apps.
Click on that cube and scroll down until you see YouTube. Once you are on the YouTube page, click on the "Create a video or post" icon (it looks like a video camera with a plus sign) in the top right-hand corner.
From there, choose "Upload video." You will then be able to drag and drop your video file and share the final URL in your discussion forum response.
You will go into Discussion Forum 1 and select "Add a new discussion topic."
Once you have filled in the subject line, go to the message box below. You will see a tool bar at the top of that message box.
Click the "Media" button on the right side of the tool bar. (It looks like a piece of film with a play button in the middle.)
You will then be prompted to insert the URL from your YouTube video.
To add Closed Captions to YouTube videos:
Once on the YouTube homepage, click on your account in the upper right corner >> YouTube Studio (beta) >> Creator Studio Classic.
Next to the video you want to add captions or subtitles to, click the drop-down menu next to the Edit button.
Select the Subtitles/CC button.
Click English (Automatic) >> Edit. Click inside any line in the caption track panel and edit the text.
When you are finished, click Publish edits. To view the captions, be sure to click the CC button in the lower right corner so they are visible to you.
