1st Semester
Using a Christian worldview the 1st semester of this course will take a broad look through the history of the ancient world. It will start with creation and will lead through early civilizations and cultures around the world. The course will take us up to the transition from the ancient world to the contemporary world where it will end around the time of Medieval Europe.

2nd Semester
Using a Christian worldview the 2nd semester of this course will start at the transition from the ancient world to the world of renaissance, reformation, and exploration and discovery. It will lead through the enlightenment age and the formation of contemporary Europe. The end of the course will explore the causes and effects leading us to the modern world. It will include the industrial revolution, both world wars, the cold war, and the rise of technology in the modern world.
This course integrates three core English Language Arts components: literature, writing, and grammar.
Elements of Literature expands your understanding of advanced literary concepts and the process of literary analysis. You will study works from various genres and interpret them through a biblical lens, with major pieces including Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and one novel per semester.
Writing and Grammar 10 reviews foundational grammar topics such as parts of speech, verbals, and sentence structure, while developing your writing skills through diverse projects. Assignments include informative essays, narrative eyewitness reports, and internet or satirical articles. Each semester, you will also complete a literary analysis based on the novel studied.

Geometry:
Geometry provides a better understanding of the physical world and enhances the students’ ability to work practical problems. It also promotes the development of logic and reasoning skills, which are essential for success in future courses and vocations. It is the desire that students will grow in their knowledge of Christ, understand the application of geometry from a biblical worldview, and develop a greater desire to serve God and others.
High School Bible Class
High School Bible is a course designed to equip students with biblical literacy, strong Bible study skills, and a firm understanding of biblical doctrine to help them grow in their relationship with Christ. Through systematic study of Scripture, students explore the overarching biblical narrative of Creation, Fall, and Redemption, and learn to interpret and apply God’s Word to their lives.
The course emphasizes developing a biblical worldview, enabling students to evaluate other beliefs, defend their faith, and engage culture with truth and love. Students will study key Bible doctrines, ethical principles, and the lives of biblical characters, while also learning to harmonize Scripture with contemporary issues in science, history, government, and the arts.
Class activities include reading, discussion, journaling, quizzes, projects, and case studies that encourage critical thinking and application of biblical truths. The course fosters spiritual growth, character development, and equips students to clearly explain and live out their Christian faith in everyday life.

Biology is a foundational course that introduces students to the key systems and processes that make up the living world. Topics include cell structure and function, genetics, evolution, ecology, biodiversity, and the major human biological systems. Students are expected to come prepared with all necessary materials each day to fully engage in hands-on activities, discussions, and labs that deepen their understanding of life science concepts.
