Comic Layout Portrait 1
Comic Layout Landscape 1

Grab a template for portrait or landscape backgrounds, or use borders around your images to build your own layout. Templates are view only for GDRSD.

Add to our family collection.

To view other folders with student made png files, take a look in our folder. These files are a work in progress. I am always looking for student art work to add to these files. Stop by to see what's new and email me or share files with akaplan@gdrsd.org if you would like to contribute to our resource. Please use only initials or first names to identify your work to keep other personal details private.

Digiforms

Remember Colorforms? I used to have so much fun with them. These aren't vinyl images but digital ones in the form of a png file. To access these transparent files open the Google Slide then click on the respective images to open them, access the link, and add them to your digital creation! Alternatively, students can cut out their props and lay them over the printed backgrounds to create their comic scenes. However they choose to share, they should cite their sources! To access their links for these sources, simply right click on the image to copy it's link.

Comic Landscape Backgrounds Iceland

Slide 1 is a replica of Erik the Red's home in Iceland. The foundation for the original structure was steps away.

Backgrounds

Like the hunters, I gathered some background images. Open the file to the left to view these backgrounds. These images are my own and I am happy to share them with you. You can also use the Explore tool to find images of your own choosing. Either way, don't forget to cite your sources should you opt to use them.

If I were to use images found online and I planned to share them outside of school, virtually or otherwise, I would first get permission to publish said files and then set the permissions to make it viewable in school for educational purposes only. Outside of that one would be breaking copyright laws. Either way, I would add the link to each image in the notes section of the slide or possibly on the image itself, and then add it to my bibliography.
