The session began with inspiring momentum. TEDx – Uncharted Terrain challenged boundaries of thought, encouraging our learners to explore unfamiliar ideas with confidence and curiosity.

Evolvium, our flagship academic conclave, brought together two powerful platforms — SCiTECH, a celebration of innovation under the theme “Volatility – The Pulse of the Changing World”, and MUN, where young delegates engaged in thought-provoking deliberations on global and national issues.

With every event, our learners are not just participating — they are evolving. As we continue the journey, we look forward to nurturing an environment where excellence is not a momentary milestone, but a way of life.

EVOLVIUM 2025: NAVIGATING VOLATILITY WITH VISION AND VOICE

Evolvium 2025 illuminated G.D. Goenka Public School, Gurugram, with a powerful convergence of science and diplomacy, bringing together its two flagship events — SciTech and TGMUN — under the thought-provoking theme Navigating Volatility.Students wowed at SciTech with future-ready innovations, while TGMUN sparked intense debates on AI ethics, media freedom, and migration. A dramatic cyber-crisis simulation tested real-time strategy and diplomacy.Visionary guests Ms. Lata Vaidyanathan and Brig. Ratan Kumar applauded the students’ brilliance and was impressed with the spirit of today’s youth. Evolvium wasn’t just an event — it was a glimpse into a future led by bold, thoughtful, and prepared youth ready to lead in a world defined by change.

SPARK THE CHANGE: TEDX POWERED BY STUDENTS

On April 19, 2025, GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram, proudly hosted an electrifying TEDx event titled TEDxGD Goenka Gurugram Youth, centered around the theme "Uncharted Terrain." This dynamic platform spotlighted voices from within the school community, highlighting ideas rooted not in far-off places but in classrooms, conversations, and daily life. The event celebrated the spirit of innovation that emerges where certainty fades, encouraging attendees to venture beyond the familiar and embrace bold challenges and new possibilities. The event featured a diverse lineup of speakers including Major (Dr.) Mohd Ali Shah,Mr. Dinesh Mohan, Mr. Vineet Malhotra, Ms. Nikita Chawla, and many others who shared personal struggles and groundbreaking innovations.Their stories broke barriers, challenged norms, and carved new paths,inspiring the audience to question established ideas and expand horizons.TEDxGD Goenka Gurugram Youth served as a beacon for meaningful dialogue and action, illuminating the bold, uncertain, and transformative journeys that shape our future.

Orientation and Subject Narration

The aim of GDGPS's orientation session for grades IX-XII was to guide students in aligning their curriculum with NEP, CBSE guidelines, and academic expectations while fostering academic excellence and extracurricular involvement. To achieve this, the school provided clear subject narrations, highlighting the significance of each discipline, and offered strategies to overcome academic challenges. These efforts ensured that students left the session motivated, prepared, and confident to embark on their educational journey.

The M&M Programme at GD Goenka Public School, designed for Grades 9 to 12, breathes new life into academic responsibility and student growth. A dynamic collaboration between mentors, the academic coordinator, and class representatives, the initiative reinforces regularity, notebook completion, and respect for school norms. Focused on building consistency, confidence, and self-discipline, mentors motivate students to show up, stay on track, and give their best. With visible changes in punctuality and participation, students are now more driven, accountable, and ready to thrive as proud members of the Goenkan community.

School Assembly

The inspiring teachers of G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48 hosted a welcome assembly on April 2’ 2025. It was a vibrant and positive start to the new academic session. Fast forward to April 16’ 2025, the first student-led exemplifying assembly was conducted by grade XII which stole the heart of everyone. The students were appreciated by the Principal Ma’am for their performance as it truly reflected the essence of the topic ‘Redefining Excellence: It’s About Effort Not Perfection’. Further the students of grade X held their assembly on the topic ‘Innovation Begins With Imagination’.They presented a short skit and a musical performance based on the theme Excellence. All the assemblies were informative and engaging, promoting a strong sense of community and responsibility among students and staff.

LET THE HOUSE JOURNEY BEGIN!

At GD Goenka School, Sector 48, the corridors thrummed with energy as students from classes IX-XII gathered for the Selection Round of the Inter House competitions on 23 April 2025. While some showcased their talents in Time travel with the historical figure, Extempore, Cricket, Table Tennis, Nutriquest, others participated in the Shape shifters and Hindi Manthan rooted in the essence of our national pride -the Hindi language. .Amid the impressive display of talent, the task of selecting finalists for the upcoming round on May 7th and May 27th proved to be a formidable challenge for the judges.

IDM IN ACTION: GUIDING PASSIONS, SHAPING FUTURES

GD Goenka Public School, Gurugram has curated a holistic program—IDM (I Discover Me) designed to empower students by helping them identify their strengths, interests, and aspirations. As part of this initiative, Mr. Binit Binod from Pratham conducted an insightful session for Class XI, guiding students on subject selection, career planning, entrance examinations, and the strategic use of the two formative senior school years. The IDM journey for Grade X commenced on April 21, 2025, marking the beginning of a year-long engagement in self-exploration, academic goal-setting, and informed decision-making. Extending this vision, Grade IX students participated in a School Cinema screening of Not Out, fostering introspection and life-value learning through meaningful and thought-provoking storytelling.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM STUDENT LED CLUBS

GD Goenka Public School, Gurugram has introduced an array of student-led clubs designed to cultivate leadership, creativity, and collaboration. These clubs offer students a platform to explore their interests in diverse areas, including debate, environmental advocacy, performing arts, coding, entrepreneurship and many more.Through active involvement in the planning and execution of club activities, students refine essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. This initiative not only enhances their co-curricular development but also empowers them to take ownership of their personal growth and leadership journey, fostering a spirit of initiative and responsibility.

CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE PROGRAM

The Center of Excellence Programme (COEP) at GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, fosters holistic growth through creative, emotional, and career-focused learning. Spanning five days, the 2025–26 edition offered 20 immersive sessions for Grades IX–XII. An array of activities promoted sustainability, leadership, and community engagement, while senior students gained insights into emotional wellness and career pathways. Partnered with reputed institutions, COEP cultivates empathy, skills, and purpose—preparing students to lead with heart and excellence in every sphere of life.
