Principal’s Note
As we bring this academic year to a close, I pause, not merely to recount achievements, but to acknowledge the spirit that has animated them. A school year is never defined solely by milestones or accolades; it is defined by the quiet perseverance of learners, the thoughtful guidance of teachers, and the unwavering trust of parents.
This year, I have witnessed our students grow in confidence and clarity of thought. I have seen them collaborate and lead with responsibility. Excellence, at GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram, has never been an outcome we chase; it is a habit we nurture through assiduous study, reflective practice, and an abiding respect for values.
The philosopher Alfred North Whitehead once wrote, “The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one.” It is this openness to ideas, evidence, and dialogue that I see flourishing in our classrooms. In a world that often rewards haste, we remain committed to depth; in times that test certainty, we anchor ourselves in integrity.
My gratitude to our teachers, whose commitment extends far beyond lesson plans; to our parents, whose partnership strengthens our resolve; and above all, to our students, who remind us daily why education is both a privilege and a responsibility.
May we step into the coming year with renewed confidence, and the courage to strive, not only for success, but for significance.
With warmth and faith in our shared journey,
Anuradha Handa
