Description: Lobby Day is an important day in the Colorado Library calendar. It's a day where librarians from across the state come together to advocate for specific issues with our state legislators.
Date: March 26, 2025
Time: 8:00am to 10:30am
Location: Colorado State Capitol. Meet at the base of the stairs, straight ahead after you get through security. We'll head upstairs to the Lobby Day table together. (The table will be located on the north side of the building, Level Two, outside the old supreme court and beneath the stained glass portrait of Emily Griffith.)
Optional: Tour of Denver Public Library's Central Location with advocacy discussion.

Outcome: Participants will discover the importance of advocating for libraries.
Objective 1: Participants will demonstrate their advocacy skills while participating in Lobby Day at the Capitol.
Objective 2: Participants will apply their advocacy plan.
Objective 3: Participants will examine their advocacy and Lobby Day experiences.
