LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT EVENTS

District LDEs are the first competition level where members showcase leadership skills in public speaking and parliamentary procedure. High school competitors qualify for the State Convention, while junior high members aim for the spring State Junior High LDEs.

The New Mexico State FFA Convention is held each summer in Las Cruces and celebrates leadership and achievement through Leadership Development Events (LDEs), award ceremonies, and retiring addresses. Members elect next year's State Officers and connect with chapters, concluding the FFA year.
