The New Mexico State FFA Career Development Events (CDEs) bring together top teams and individuals from across the state to compete in a wide range of agricultural contests that test both technical knowledge and practical skills. Held each spring, this multi-day event showcases the best of agricultural education, with competitions in areas such as livestock evaluation, floriculture, ag mechanics, veterinary science, and many others. State CDEs provide students with hands-on learning experiences, opportunities to network with peers and industry professionals, and the chance to earn recognition for their hard work. Winners in each event earn the honor of representing New Mexico FFA at the National FFA Convention and Expo.
