CAREER DEVELOPMENT EVENTS

Before competing at the state level, members join CDE invitational contests hosted by FFA chapters in New Mexico. These events let teams test their knowledge, gain experience, and improve scores in preparation for the State Career Development Events.

State Career Development Events occur each spring at New Mexico State University. Teams statewide compete in contests that showcase their skills and leadership in agriculture. Top teams may qualify to represent New Mexico at the National FFA Convention, making it one of the year’s biggest events!
