As a group, you will create a prototype of some sort that helps to explain your concept (solution). You may choose to create a detailed concept sketch (or sketches), create a paper prototype, a physical model from basic materials, a 3D CAD model or code a robot to demonstrate system oriented functions.

The type of prototype that you choose will largely depend upon the problem and proposed solution - use the most suitable option that best helps you communicate your idea
Your final prototype will be the central feature in your video presentation as well as when you present your work during the expo on the final day

When sketching ideas, whether initial sketches used when brainstorming or creating final, presentation drawings, use the skills that you have acquired in Design and Technology.

Remember: Sketching is all about communicating ideas so used a variety of angles, show the product in context and annotate to explain functions and features.
