Cleaning can be difficult, as it’s easy to miss dirt or spills without visual cues, leading to an increased reliance on touch to ensure thoroughness.
Organising items is another challenge; without sight, it’s easy to misplace or lose objects, making it necessary to have a strict system for where things are kept. Tasks like folding laundry or matching clothes become more time-consuming and require a methodical approach. Even making a cup of tea or setting a table can involve additional steps to ensure everything is in the right place. These daily activities, which many take for granted, demand careful planning and adaptation.
