Day 3: May 18, 2022 from 8:00AM to 3:30PM
Description: Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to youth who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. This workshop is appropriate for all school staff and personnel. Each class is limited to the first 15 registered participants.

Description: This professional development opportunity is a two (2) day training series for Special Education teachers, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists in our local school districts. This training series is designed to assist local school districts in building internal capacity when considering and implementing assistive technology for its students. Participants must attend both training days to receive credit.
