Texas Driving with Disability Program 

This Texas trail-blazing program focuses on improving the interaction between law enforcement and drivers with disabilities that have unique communication needs. 

METROLift 

This ADA accessible, shared-ride paratransit service is available for prequalified customers. It operates in most of Harris County including portions of Kingwood, Humble and Clear Lake. 

Harris County RIDES 

RIDES is a curb-to-curb subsidized program that allows eligible customers and participating agencies to purchase transportation services at a significant discount. The customer/agency pays 50% of the total trip cost. 

LyfeOnWheels 

LyfeOnWheels is a family-owned and operated professional transportation service which includes taxi, a taxi with assistance and wheelchair transportation. We provide safe and dependable wheelchair transportation, ambulette and senior transportation for senior citizens, physically and mentally challenged individuals of any age. 

Strowmatt Rehabilitation Services

Vocational Rehabilitation Personnel, Vehicle Modification Personnel, Medical Professionals that want to know if their patients can or should drive, parents of special needs kids, and adults that have questions concerning their parents driving. 

Online Texas Parent Taught Drivers Ed 

Do you want teen drivers ed that's both convenient and comprehensive? Skip the classroom and earn your learner permit at your pace via our mobile-friendly course. This online teen drivers ed course is highly interactive, perfectly fits your schedule and keeps teens engaged. 


Fort Bend County Transit 

The purpose of the FBCPTD was to provide seamless service between urban and rural communities; access rural transit funding and increase services to residents in Fort Bend County without increasing a financial burden to the taxpayers. 

Demand Response Service is a curb-to-curb, shared-ride service that covers all of Fort Bend County. Customers must register for the service over the phone and may start making their reservations at least one (1) day in advance or up to thirty (30) days in advance.  Demand Response Service operates Monday through Friday, excluding County acknowledged holidays, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. 

TIRR Memorial Hermann Pre-Driving Assessment Program

Six TIRR Memorial Hermann Outpatient Rehabilitation centers are now offering comprehensive pre-driving assessments for people experiencing functional vision changes due to a neurologic incident, trauma, surgery or the aging process.
