Social Security Administration - Disability 

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or “Disability” provides monthly payments to people who have a disability that stops or limits their ability to work. 

Texas Health and Human Services 

Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provide health coverage for low-income children, families, seniors and people with disabilities. 

Your Texas Benefits 

State benefit programs help people with little or no money who are in need. 

Texas State Independent Living Council 

The Texas State Independent Living Council (SILC) is a non-profit organization with the mission to ensure that Texans with disabilities have access to quality Independent Living Services by providing a framework for service delivery. 

Apply for a Texas Identification Card 

The Department issues identification cards that are valid for up to six years to Texas residents.  

U.S. Department of Education - Office of Special Education Programs 

The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) is dedicated to improving results for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities ages birth through 21 by providing leadership and financial support to assist states and local districts.
