Each year, the Department of Arts Administration publishes a handbook for students in each degree program.
Students should follow the requirements as listed in the handbook for the year that they began the Ph.D. in Arts Administration. This is called your catalog year. Your catalog year refers to the academic year when you first began your degree program. Your catalog year is important because you follow the curriculum requirements that were in effect that academic year. For instance, if you began your Ph.D. in Arts Administration in fall 2023, you should refer to the 2023-24 Handbook.
