You will find a list of all ASLIE department members with pictures, bios, and contact information at https://www.rit.edu/ntid/directory?term_node_tid_depth=8339.
Faculty post their office hours on or near their office door. You may also email them to request an appointment.
RIT pays for a communication and collaboration tool called Slack. Slack is a collaboration tool that can be used for one-to-one or one-to-many instant messaging. This tool enables faculty, staff, and students to better able to communicate with each other.
We will be using Slack to communicate with all BSI students. As you join clubs and classes, you will be added to more Slack "workspaces." The first RIT workspace you will join is the “BS Interpreting Students” workspace.
Note: Slack will periodically log you out. When that happens, you won't receive notifications about new messages that have been posted. For that reason, make a habit of checking Slack at the same time every day so you won't forget. If you've been logged out, Slack will prompt you to log in again.
If you do not check Slack at least once per day, you may miss important, time-sensitive information.
