You can borrow a laptop computer from the Resource Desk in the NTID Learning Center (LBJ 2450) or from the Wallace Memorial Library. Both locations allow you to reserve in advance.
There are non-reservable study rooms on the second floor of LBJ.
You can reserve a study room at the NTID Learning Center (LBJ 2450).
You can reserve Wallace Library study rooms using RIT Events.
Available rooms will appear under Wallace Library Study Rooms (005SR).
The rooms can be booked up to 14 days in advance, with these rules:
maximum of 4 bookings per day
maximum of 60 minutes per booking
You will need an RIT ID Card to gain access to the room. Study room reservations must be “Confirmed” or “Approved” in EMS in order for your RIT ID card to open the door.
Rooms will allow RIT ID card access 15 minutes prior to the start of EMS room reservation. Rooms will automatically lock 5 minutes after the reservation ends.
There is a microwave located in SDC 1400 (behind The Grind coffee shop on the first floor of the Student Development Center). There is also a microwave in The Commons next to the beverage dispenser.
There are lockers on the second floor of the Student Development Center outside The Commons dining facility. See the NTID Student Life Team staff assistant in SDC 1200 to request a locker.
