St. Laurent School - Bus Rules

• Parent/Guardian Responsibility: Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising students before boarding and after leaving the bus at home.

• Student Conduct: Students must behave on the bus as they would in the classroom. The bus driver, teacher, or supervisor is responsible for ensuring appropriate behavior.

• Misconduct: If students misbehave, incidents will be reported to the principal and transportation supervisor. Disciplinary actions may be taken as per PRSD's guidelines, including suspension of bus privileges.

• Suspension of Riding Privileges: Students who cause serious disciplinary issues may have their bus privileges suspended. Parents will be notified of any suspension, and they will be responsible for transporting the student during the suspension period.

• Bus Stops: Students will not be removed from the bus at stops other than their assigned location, except in extreme safety situations.

• Video Cameras: Video cameras may be used on buses to monitor student behavior and ensure a safe environment for all.
