ANALYZE
Each area is important not only for the aesthetics of the classroom but also for the use of the students. If these areas are not present, the class is not suitable for the students, as they are required.
2. Are there rules and procedures posted in the classroom? List them down. Do these rules reinforce positive behavior?
Yes, guidelines and rules are posted on the wall of the classroom. Yes, it certainly reinforces positive behavior because these wall displays serve as reminders of what they must and must not do inside and outside of the classroom.
3. Did the students participate in making the classroom rules? If the resource teacher is available, ask him/her to describe the process. What’s the effect of students’ participation in rule-making on students’ behavior?
Yes, learners are involved in making the class rules. During the first day of class, during the meet and greet between teachers and students, they discussed and decided on the classroom rules, as well as the election of officers for that day.
Every morning and afternoon, they will start the class with a prayer and some warm-ups.
Their seating arrangement was based on their height. The tallest of the group was seated at the back, while those who are short are in front. Yes, because through this, they will be able to see their teacher without any distractions, which can help them retain their discussions.
During normal discussions, the class is attentive and does not make any unnecessary noise, but during activities and free time, they tend to be loud. Their teacher just let them do it since it was an activity and they would have to collaborate with their classmates.
We have noticed that whenever there is a learner that is doing off task, the teacher call her/him privately to talk. The teacher does not want to let the learner feel embarassed in front of the class as they will affect the mental health of the learner.
8. What does the resource teacher do to reinforce positive behaviors? (behavior strategies)
Resource teacher reinforce positive behavior by always reminding them of the good deeds that they should do to have a harmonious class. This was done whenever there was some issue that arose in the class. This acts as their reminder.
REFLECT
Why do you need to enforce positive discipline?
As educators, we have to instill in the minds of our learners the importance of doing what is right not just for themselves but also for the sake of the majority. By doing these, we will be able develop their attitude and behavior to make them good citizens who do not commit acts that are inappropriate and punishable by law.

OBSERVE
How did the classroom organization and routines in the group affect the learners' behavior?
An effective classroom organization provides learners with guidance on what their daily routines will be like. It will give them a structured flow of what they are expected to do when inside the class. It will eventually make them feel comfortable in doing their tasks
2. What should the teacher have in mind when she or he designs the classroom organization and routines? What theories and principles should have in mind?
There should be proper ventilation and good lighting inside the classroom. The color choice for wall paint and displays must not be too bright to avoid distractions, especially for young learners. The principles that must be focused on, especially in the wall displays and rules, are that they must be simple to follow. Teachers must also provide a wall display that shows a good citizen. The theory that will be in mind in doing the classroom organization is the behaviorist theory because the wall display will surely affect the behavior of the learners, especially if it is implemented effectively and successfully.
3. Which behavior strategies were effective in managing the behavior of the learners? In motivating students? Why were they effective?
We believed that one way of managing the behavior of the learners effectively is by setting rules that can be followed, having a routine, giving frequent words of affirmation especially in accomplishing tasks fostering good relationships among the learners and the teachers, and most especially by instilling in them what good characters but be displayed.
Imagine organizing your classroom in the future. At what grade level do you see yourself? What routines and procedures do you consider for this level? Why?
We see ourselves handling higher levels in primary school. Ideally, from grades 4–6. The routine that we will most likely do is to always have a prayer and a simple warm-up before actually starting the class. Also, we will be putting on various wall displays that talk about good behavior. We chose this level as they are older and can easily understand the instructions given
Make a list of the rules that you would likely implement at this level. Why would you choose these rules?
Come to class prepared to learn
Don’t ever cheat
Always be on time
Be attentive to teachers while teaching
Keep your classroom clean
Don’t ever distract the class during lessons
Complete home works and assignments daily
Respect every one
Don’t hurt others
Actively participate in classroom activities
We believe that applying these comprehensive classroom rules as part of classroom routines can make a remarkable difference in student behavior over the course of the year.
Should learners be involved in making the class rules? why?
Yes, we believed that learners must be involved in making the class rules. By doing that, learners will feel included which will avoid misbehavior since they also agreed on what rules are there for them to follow.
