Great job at this week's meet! We do not have a meet this week, so will be shifting our workout schedule a little. Please make sure not to go out of town early...our track workout Friday will set you up for the long weekend!!
This week's schedule....
August 26-30 -- Practice:
Meet at 2:30 in the hall by the small gym to change in the locker room. We will meet here each day to change and meet as a team before our workout.
Schedule:
Monday: 2:30-4:00 -- Meet at my classroom (B106) at 2:15 for a quick chat first!
long run -- 4-6 miles depending on your training level (for brand new runners, 3 miles)
light hill work at the end of the run
Tuesday: 2:30-4:00 -- Fartlek workout on upper field
Wednesday: 2:30-4:00 -- PICTURE DAY!! (for real this time)
Thursday: 2:30-4:00 -- Recovery run
Friday: 2:30-4:00 -- Track workout! cancelled for heat. Run the workout later when the temps come down!
Saturday through Monday: get in two runs over the weekend; one needs to be a LONG run!! (4-6 miles)
Keep an eye on Remind each day for any last minute changes! It is going to be a warm week...make sure to bring water.
