This week's practice
November 18-22:
See THIS PAGE for uniform info -- it is due no later than 12/20!!!! No exceptions!
Run 2-3 laps and be ready by 2:45 at the track (NO CELL PHONES!!!) Dress for the weather! It will be cold and you don't want to get hurt, so make sure to wear layers you can take off as you warm up.
Don't forget to drink water...you will not be as thirsty but your body still gets dehydrated. You should be drinking water ALL DAY, not just during practice.
Schedule:
Monday, Thursday -- 2:45-4:00 conditioning at the track
(run two laps when you first arrive!)
Wednesday -- 2:45-4:00 in the weight room (upstairs in the main gym)
Tuesday, Friday, Weekend -- on your own.
If it rains, we will send a message on StudentSquare and ParentSquare with instructions.
Looking ahead:
Conditioning dates: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 1/24, 2:45-4:00 at the track.
Thanksgiving week practice: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00-12:30 at the track.
REQUIRED practice starts January 27 (but don't wait until then if you are not in a current sport or you will struggle when the season starts!) Practice during the season will be Monday through Thursday, 2:45-5:30 (and some Fridays).
All uniforms MUST be purchased by December 20 or you WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING!!
First meet is February 10!
