Savannah Meet the Teacher is Tuesday, August 8th:
4:00 PK, AFS, and PABS
4:30 Kinder
5:00-6:30 1st-5th
Car/Dismissal Tags:
Car/Dismissal tags will be handed out on Meet the Teacher Night by classroom teachers. If your family is unable to make it to Meet the Teacher, the tags can be picked up in the front office on Wednesday August 9th. Any unclaimed tags will go in student backpacks on the first day of school. Note: Car dismissal on the first week of school moves more quickly if you have your car tag!

Please complete your online registration today! Our classes are filling up quickly, and we want to ensure your Gator is placed in the appropriate class.
Are you new to the Savannah community or struggling with registration? We will have in person registration, with support available on July 24th & 25th from 8:30-3:00.
Returning Gator Families: Have you received your INFOSNAP code in your email? If you haven't received your code or you need assistance with registration, please email infosnaphelp@dentonisd.org

You get to complete registration in the comforts of your own home this year! No more long lines with tons of documents to bring up to the school! Once you submit your online registration, you will receive an email with an 'Enrollment Secure Document' link. You can upload the following documents.
Verification print out from INFOSNAP
Proof of residency (utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement). Cable, phone, cell phone, or insurance bills cannot be accepted. If you live with relatives/friends, you will both need to be present at registration and will need to complete an affidavit of residency. Bills/statements must be current - June or July.
Guardian Driver's License
Student birth certificate or passport
Updated student immunization records
Student social security card (if applicable)
Student withdrawal papers from the previous school/district (if applicable)

*Release of Directory Information:
This is always a tricky part of on-line registration for parents, and we get many questions about this step! During your on-line registration portion, you will be asked to choose a Release of Directory Information option.
Options will include:
Option #1: All info released. Information can be shared with contacts outside of DISD.
Option #2: Release limited information. Information will only be used within DISD (Savannah Facebook, yearbook, Denton ISD Facebook, school photos, school website, etc).
Option #3: Release no information. No information will be released at the school, within the district, or outside the district. This means your child cannot have their school photos taken, and cannot be in the yearbook, as an example.
*Please note that Savannah keeps all student information such as phone number and address confidential. We do not print directories with this information that goes home for all parents.
*If you have any questions about this step or any other registration questions, please give us a call! Our offices are closed for summer, but will open again July 25th. Feel free to leave a voicemail in the interim and we will return calls as quickly as we can!
Where Will My Child Attend School?
With the fast paced growth of our community, it can be difficult to determine which elementary school your child is zoned to attend. Please share this information with your new neighbors and friends. Click on the map below
Be sure to enter your full address including Lane, Drive, etc. Then, the school you are zoned to attend will pop up.
School Meal Information and Assistance Application
If you would like to apply for school meal assistance (lunch/breakfast at a free or reduced price), please use the link below. You will be able to complete an application here beginning July 22nd. Please note that families must reapply each school year.
It will prompt you to sign up for a SchoolCafe account first (or sign in if you already have an account from last year), then you may click on the benefits link within. This is also the place to add funds to your child's breakfast/lunch account if they will be eating in the cafeteria this school year.
