Pathways (formerly known as Advisory) is a 20 minute class that meets once a week, on Wednesdays, between 1st and 2nd block.
The plan is that you will stay with your Pathways Group and your Pathways Teacher for 4 years, grades 9-12.
In the spring of your 8th grade year, you will get to tour the High School. You and the rest of your high school Pathways Class will tour at the same time, with upperclassmen Peer Mentors.
In Pathways class, we study the following things: School rules from the student handbook; Prepare for Student-Led Conferences in the fall; Holiday commemorations like Veteran's Day and MLK Day; Bystander training and how to be an upstander; Social Emotional Learning - how to care for yourself and others; Grade and Credit Checks; View outstanding Senior Presentations; Career exploration; High School and Beyond Plan; Career Week/Day; Preparation for registration for next year's classes; ASB Elections
