Why Leadership?

I have chosen to apply for Graduation with distinction in the field of leadership because I have been am active leader in the school. To begin, I have taken 13 advanced classes, more than double and almost triple the amount required. These courses are as follows: Advanced Math, Pre-Calculus, Physics 1A, Chem 1A, Physics 1B, French Intermediate, Calculus I, APUSH, AP Calculus AB, Advanced Statistics, APGAP, Physics 1C (starts 1/23/23) and Calc BC, (AP courses highlighted blue on transcript). Outside of the classroom I have also been a member of Class Officers and Student Council. My Junior year I was the treasurer of both and then in my senior year I was just a student council officer (there were no positions this year and a requirement that you could not be a leader in another club). Through student council and class officers I have raced hundreds of dollars and planned numerous school wide activities. This is why I believe I have earned Graduation with Distinction in Leadership.
