Cost: $120 per exam

Priority Registration:
For students who are enrolled in the AP class @ WHS.
OPEN: October 2nd, 2023 @ 4:00pm
CLOSES: October 12th, 2023 @ 11:59pm

Open Registration:
For self-studying (WHS students) and/or students who missed the Priority Registration window.
OPEN: October 13th, 2023 @ 12:00am
CLOSES: October 23rd, 2023 @ 4:00pm

SHOULD I TAKE AN AP EXAM?

Before registering for an AP Exam, review the points below:

• AP Exams are not required

• AP Exams won't have any impact on your grades, graduation status, or your GPA

• The purpose of AP Exams is to earn college credit

• Some colleges will accept AP scores for college credit, IF you receive a high enough score. 

• Not all colleges will accept AP scores for college credit - research your goal schools to see if they will accept before registering!

• AP Exam scores will not be shown on your transcript; however, the grade you receive in your AP class will

• How you perform on AP Exams will NOT impact your AP class grade

• AP classes add weight to your GPA - AP Exams DO NOT add weight to your GPA

• Colleges will have access to ALL College Board tests/exams (SATs, AP Exams, etc.) If you do not do well on an exam - colleges will still have access to view it.

Most students from previous years cancelled (with no refund), due to finding out their college did not accept AP exams for college credit. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE REGISTERING!!

HOW TO REGISTER FOR EXAMS AT WHS:

STEP 1: Join WHS AP Exam 2024 Google Classroom: 5p6yk46

STEP 2: Go to: collegeboard.org

• Sign In / Create a New Account
  Forgot username/password? Select “Need Help Signing In”
  **Do NOT create a new account if you have one. This will slow down college applications in the future!**

STEP 3: Add Join Codes on College Board

• Gather your Join Codes from each of your AP teachers
  We will not be able to order you an exam if you skip this step!

STEP 4: Go to: totalregistration.net/AP/050972

• Complete registration form

• WAIT to be removed off waitlist (you’ll receive a 2nd email from TR!)

• Make a payment (you won’t be able to make a payment until you are removed from the waitlist, BE PATIENT)

We will not be able to order you an exam if you skip this step!

Your registration is complete once you have done ALL FOUR STEPS!
