CSU/UC REQUIREMENTS
Students must meet the minimum a-g requirements in order to be eligible for a university. For all of the courses outlined below, students need to earn at least a "C" or better. UCs also require a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.Â

E) LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH: LEVEL 2
F) VISUAL / PERFORMING ARTS: 1 YEAR
G) COLLEGE PREP ELECTIVES: 1 YEAR

LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH
Colleges recognize the last year of World Language student has taken with satisfactory grades as the number of years completed. I.e., student takes Spanish 1 in junior high and Spanish 2 and 3 in high school. UC/CSU would count 3 years as completed. If student is a native speaker and begins at a higher level like Spanish 3, UC/CSU would count 3 years as completed.
LANGUAGE SCHOOLS OUTSIDE OF FUSD
Students who are taking a language at one of the approved language schools by FUSD, must verify with the universities if it will meet the language requirement.
