FUSD MATH & SCIENCE PATHWAYS
We understand that many students are eager to advance in our Math and Science courses. FUSD has established specific Math and Science pathways that students are required to follow to ensure academic success and proper progression. Please note the following:
Students may NOT skip levels - regardless of self-studying/outside tutoring.
Students may NOT take courses through FUSD Summer School for advancement.
Students may NOT take courses outside of FUSD for advancement (nor will we count those courses for high school credit).
Students who are transferring to WHS from Out-of-District or Out-of-Country:
We do our best to place students in math and science courses that match the level they most recently completed. However, please note that FUSD course content may not always align with coursework from your previous school. All students attending WHS are required to follow the FUSD pathways - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please review the FUSD Course Catalog for math and science prerequisites.
