We understand that the jump from 8th grade to 9th grade can be a huge adjustment for our students. Mr. Green is available to meet with our 9th grade students who are in need of additional support during this transition.

Some common examples:

• Adjusting to high school life

• Self-regulation and social/emotional skill building

• Difficulties developing healthy friendships/inclusivity 

• Finding an organization system (backpacks, planners, and study habits)

• Academic grade checks

• Students in need of a safe space to discuss social, emotional, and mental health concerns

• Personal or family challenges

• Pairing students with an upper classmen (Peer Resource)

• Referral to outside resources (e.g. long-term therapy)
