Student of the Month
By Stella Bock
Kennady Wilson, a Senior at Poston Butte High School, is one of your Students of the Month for December. With it being her last year, we will be sad to see her go, but we know that she will make the world a better place.
Kennady Wilson is the oldest of four siblings. Outside of school Kennady has many hobbies such as competitive swim, reading (mostly horror), crocheting stuffed animals and blankets, and she also does SFX makeup, her personal favorite being a zipper face.
Kennady is also very involved with school. She plays on the school’s softball team, and is the vice president of both STEM and NHS. She is very proud of her accomplishments; currently, one of her biggest accomplishments has been her blood drives for the school. With this year being her last at Poston Butte, Kennady is considering what she wants to do in her future. She plans on going to ASU as of right now, but she has also found herself thinking about other colleges. She plans to study in the bio medical field. She knows that she wants to work in a lab and do research in her future.
The advice she leaves behind for her fellow Broncos is to just get out there, be outgoing, and take the chances you are too scared to take. She used a quote from Steve Jobs to convey her message “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” Kennady also suggests helping out your community and giving back to your school even after you’ve gone. We are so excited to see where Kennady goes in her future.
