Farrah Muhammad, a real-life superhero and a fantastic writer is Student of the Month for August at Poston Butte High School.
Farrah Muhammad is a Senior at Poston Butte. Farrah is the youngest in her entire family. She has moved around a lot, from Idaho to Illinois, and then to Arizona. Since moving here, Farrah has put herself out there, trying new things like clubs, outside activities, and even ziplining. Farrah joined Poston Butte’s newspaper club, The Bronco Corner, last year, and she is by far one of the most talented writers we have seen.
Farrah loves reading and writing, and it shows within her work. She is a journalistic writer and informing others is a passion of hers. Though creative writing isn’t Farrah’s cup of tea, reading thrillers like The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides is one of her favorite hobbies. Other activities Farrah does outside of school are crocheting items like tote bags, working out throughout the week, and spending time with friends. Take our word for it, Farrah is the person you want to be around.
Farrah is a strong, kind, and brave young woman, and we are honored to have had her in our club. Farrah is proud of how far she has come, and she is proud of herself for taking a chance and putting herself out there. Farrah’s favorite quote is a quote from one of her teacher’s classrooms; the quote states “Shoot for the moon, and if you fail, you’ll land amongst the stars.” She resonates with this quote and loves the optimistic outlook it has on life. Farrah is an amazing human being, and someone who will go far in life. We can’t wait to see where she goes. We will miss you, Farrah.
