Administered through UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education, offers challenging courses to highly motivated students who have completed Grades 7-11 (and are entering Grades 8-12). Students are invited to attend the program on the basis of exceptional academic talent.

Berkeley Summer Experience is an intensive application workshop and information session that is intended to introduce prospective students to the UC application and admissions process, as well as the UC Berkeley undergraduate experience. Application deadline if you want to be considered for a scholarship is in March. Classes taught by Carleton faculty on a variety of subjects. Students choose from six programs: Writing Program, Language and Global Issues, Quantitative Reasoning, Science, Computer Science and Humanities.

Case Western Reserve University is excited to offer a flexible online program designed for high school students, ages 13 and up, which allows them to do just that. Our Pre-College Online Program offers courses year-round that enable high school students to “test the water” of particular subject areas.
Each course features video lessons by Case Western Reserve instructors and live sessions with university mentors. The program is available year-round, and the online format lets you study anywhere, anytime, at your own pace.
UChicago Immersion, Stones and Bones, Research in the Biological Sciences, and Traveling Academy are a carefully curated selection of programs whose courses are open only to high school students. These intensive 3 or 4-week courses are taught at the college level and kept small, offering both experiential and UChicago seminar-style learning.

Participants elect one curricular option per session, either in the Junior-Senior Division or the Freshman-Sophomore Division. July Experience is a powerful three-week academic immersion experience for rising high school juniors and seniors on the campus of Davidson College. Students live in dorms with a diverse cohort of participants and Davidson student mentors, take two courses from Davidson faculty, and have the opportunity to participate in workshops with admission staff. Opportunities are available to explore the town, spend time at our lake campus, and visit Charlotte throughout the program.
The UC Davis Pre-College Program prepares high school and junior high school students for college, providing them with skills now to achieve success later. Throughout the year, students in grades 7-12 can begin their studies early at UC Davis, with online College Preparation and Immersion Programs. In the summer, high schoolers can test drive college with two-week summer residential programs in Equine Science, Coastal and Marine Sciences, and more.
Drexel's summer academic programs are summer camps open to highly motivated high school students who wish to explore what a university-level program is all about. Workshops are led by Drexel faculty and utilize Drexel's labs, facilities, and the city of Philadelphia's many resources.

The Power of YOU: Foresight Prep is a pre-college institute for high school students passionate about social equity and the environment. Landmark College is dedicated to students who learn differently. A variety of summer workshops (most in Vermont, one at UC Berkeley) offer students the chance to learn to cope with learning difficulties and/or autism spectrum disorders, so that they are better prepared for college.

Reside in a "living-learning" community with other Summer Scholars participants and get a real preview of college life — live in a residence hall, eat in our award-winning dining halls, and enjoy campus facilities such as our Recreational Sports Center and Goggin Ice Center. Participants who later choose to apply to Miami will also receive priority consideration for Miami merit scholarships and the University’s premier academic program. The University is pleased to offer a limited number of full scholarships for the Summer Scholars Program to academically-talented students with financial need who apply and are accepted to the program.

Summer Scholars introduces students to college-level academics in fields ranging from the liberal arts to the sciences and business.
Leadership Seminars explore topics affecting the global community. The courses are centered around vibrant discussion and a robust exchange of ideas. In this context, students are encouraged to examine their own conclusions and hone their own leadership capacities by improving their communications and analytical skills. Expenses for students accepted to Leadership Seminars—including transportation to and from Notre Dame—will be paid for by the University. Approximately 100 students are admitted to Leadership Seminars each year, and students are eligible to receive one college credit upon completion of the program.

Exeter Summer is a five-week academic enrichment program for middle and high school students. The focus is on learning through preparation, careful listening, well-considered contributions during discussions and collaboration. Courses taught by experienced faculty using Harkness, a philosophy based on student-led group discussion, provide students with the ability to direct conversations and their own learning.

Offers college-level research opportunities to exceptional, motivated high school students globally. Selected students work one-on-one with leading professors in cutting-edge study of their interests, culminating in original research and authoritative evaluations from their professors. USC Summer Programs’ courses are taught by USC faculty and experienced professionals of the USC academic community. Summer Programs’ faculty create an engaging academic experience by combining lectures, hands-on workshops and labs, guest speakers, and academic field trips to locations throughout Los Angeles. Each course is designed to be more interactive, engaging, and challenging than accelerated high school classes or the broad introductory courses offered by other summer pre-collegiate programs.
