The UNMC Health Alliance offers area high school students a one-of-a-kind opportunity to take accredited classes taught by world-renowned faculty on a variety of science and health care topics.
Admission to this program is competitive — only 55 students are admitted a year — and limited to participating school districts.
This program is FREE to it's participants so although the students are being challenged with amazing academics in an amazing setting there is no college credit awarded. The program experiences pay off in dividends in experience and should be considered in college admission and scholarship applications. Alliance students have also asked their instructors at the academy to write recommendation letters in the past as well.
This is a copy of the brochure explaining the program.
